I am a passionate journalist and communications specialist. I have the proven ability to execute news packages that impact and inform residents, as well as building and maintaining relationships with media partners, city leaders, and members of the community.

A native of Oxford, Ms, I’ve worked professionally in the news business at WMBB News 13 in Panama City, FL, and now for the City of Murfreesboro, TN as a multimedia journalist. After going back to school to pursue my passions in 2012, I graduated Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University in 2017.

When I started I was very green. WMBB took a chance on me and gave me my first news job after seeing my hard work and tenacity as an intern. I believe my genuine love of people and my gift of building relationships and making others feel comfortable also played a big part in my success.

I stay busy in Murfreesboro seeking out interesting and informative stories to tell. I have learned how city government operates and formed relationships that will impact me for life. I enjoy staying current on local and national news, and social media trends. I also love being out and about and involved in the community.
